Pitt Robotics and Automation Society President

Role

President

Date

April 2023-present

Location

University of Pittsburgh, Oakland PA

I am the president of the Pitt Robotics and Automation Society Club. The club is consisted of around 100 students with several active projects. I was involved in two projects called F1tenth and Plotter before leading my own project called Battle Bots during my freshman year. After showing lots of work and involvement with the club, I became president during my sophomore year of college and still am president as this is my second year in this role.

The organization aims to provide its members hands on experience in robotics and offer multiple robotics projects. Likewise, we provide industry tours, educational workshops, social event, outreach, engage with alumni, and more. While being president of the club I started fundraisers, helped in the development of new projects, developed merchandise, created more social events, created more organized documentation, and more. I want to highlight that whenever I first became president there was no structure and projects were ending, and it was my goal to rebuild the club in a better and more organized successful structure.
